In 30 seconds
1999 — Sanremo, Italy
I grew up between the Ligurian coast and the hills of Reggio Emilia, building bows and contraptions. Making things beat watching things.
At 16 I found programming
At technical school. I never stopped.
At 17, my first startup
A platform for lost-and-found items. Cold emails and phone calls took me all the way to the City of Milan — it was bigger than me and it died there. The lesson didn't: if you write to everyone, someone answers.

At 20 I joined Modula SpA
A world leader in vertical automated warehouses. In R&D I was the only one without a degree: industrial automation in C++ and C#, computer vision, porting an entire system to Linux. Meanwhile I paid my own way through university — six years, working full time.
2021 — Status Vaccini
Italy's first app for tracking the Covid vaccination campaign. Open source, built with Flutter. Newspapers and national TV covered it.

2022 — Aurora Digital is born
Nine months after Status Vaccini I registered as self-employed and founded Aurora Digital — still an employee, still a student. A year later I left my job: since then I've worked with companies as a developer and consultant.
That same year I founded Flutter Modena
The official Google-recognised Flutter meetup.
Today it's the most active Flutter community in Italy 🎉

Since 2023 — Head of Tech at Builtdifferent
A fitness and nutrition coaching platform with over 50,000 monthly active users.
Today I build my own products and work with companies
My products are born from problems I had: the app I needed didn't exist, so I wrote it. Through Aurora Digital I work with companies every day as a developer and consultant, while leading the tech at Ermanno, a logistics startup.
Around 234,000 people use software I wrote 🎉
